For the observatory

The Observatory is a national mechanism for the systematic documentation, analysis, and prevention of femicides and attempted femicides, which ensures transparency, accountability, and the improvement of institutional responses.

The Observatory is part of the project “Femicide Observatory: Prevention and Monitoring of Femicides and Attempted Femicides in North Macedonia”, supported by the OSCE Mission to Skopje and implemented by the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights and the National Network to End Violence against Women and Domestic Violence.
