The Multisectoral Working Body is a voluntary, multisectoral expert group that enables systematic monitoring, analysis, and identification of trends related to femicides and attempted femicides in the country. The body was established as a joint commitment through signed Memoranda of Cooperation between the National Network to End Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, the Helsinki Committee for Human Rights, and key system institutions: the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Social Policy, Demographics and Youth, the Judicial Council, the Public Prosecutor's Office, and the Council of Public Prosecutors.

The Working Body holds no public authority and does not act on specific cases. Members shall strictly adhere to legal limitations and must not influence ongoing investigations or court proceedings.

During its work, the body shall refrain from commenting on individual cases while proceedings are ongoing and will focus on systemic solutions.
Based on the analysis, the Working Group shall prepare recommendations for improving the legal framework, institutional coordination, and practices. These recommendations will serve as a key instrument for advancing the femicide prevention system.
The Working Body will also submit periodic reports to the National Coordinating Body for the implementation of the Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence, with which it cooperates closely.
